Rampart Products' Innovative Solution presented at OTC 2023
During the first day at OTC 2023, Rampart Products presented the RamTac™️ Contact Technology and the Rotatable Connector (Rotary-fit) System to the judges of the ASME's Woelfel Best Mechanical Engineering Award. This award is given every year at OTC.
Our RamTac™️ Contact Technology and the Rotatable Connector (Rotary-fit) System was first presented at OTC 2019, and since, it has been granted three patents, we couldn't be more proud! 🏆
Key points about RamTac™️ and the Rotary-fit System:
-Our male rotatable connectors are injection molded with no solder joints; hence, they have a stronger, more durable body, eliminate the risk of failed solder joints under vibration, and are sealed up to 30,000 psi.
-The Female has no solder joints giving high shock and vibe tolerance, is insensitive to misalignment and rotation direction, and does not use a temperature or chemical-sensitive elastomer to create contact force.
-RamTac TM provides a robust and reliable contact.
We were happy that some of the other submissions were incredibly elaborated. Considering the notable inventions from the past year's award finalists, Rampart Products was honored to be selected as the winner. Proving those small and simple innovations can make significant changes in the Mechanical Engineering field.⚙️
